Cylinder: Material: special self-lubricating, anti-wear cast iron alloys with very high degree of refinement, obtained by gravity casting with Shell Moulding process. Machining: on high-precision CNC machine tools. Recalculated and enlarged heat exchange surfaces. Exhaust ducts and transfers designed and fine-tuned for maximum thermodynamic efficiency. Dimensional shape and roughness checks according to Malossi standards. Cylinder piston coupling at 100% in 0.010-0.005 mm selections. Hydraulic seal check carried out at 100%. Piston: Material: special aluminium alloy with high silicon content and low thermal expansion. Machining: on CNC machines. Lightened and reinforced. Increased heat exchange surfaces. Segments: Spheroidal cast iron segments with high mechanical strength. Head: Material: special die-cast aluminium alloy. Recalculated and enlarged heat exchange surface geometry. Machining on super precise CNC machines with diamond tools. Anti-oxidising surface treatment. Pressure seal with Viton gasket. Hemispherical combustion chamber with squish and spark plug in the centre.
