This is why even apparently secondary components such as the clutch need appropriate modifications and improvements to be able to better withstand the increase in power and torque and to guarantee the legendary reliability of the most classic of scooters. From the technical offices of Malossi comes the new reinforced clutch bell, capable of handling all power and all rpm levels in the best possible way. In fact, in prepared engines, due to the high number of revolutions, it happens that the outer fins of the bell open, thus causing its function to fail. To remedy this problem, the new POWER UP CLUTCH BASKET has a reinforcement ring welded onto the outside of the bell precisely with the function of preventing the bell from opening. The toothed wheel is riveted to the bell with 16 rivets and thus allows up to 16 clutch springs to be fitted, enabling the entire clutch to handle much higher torques and powers than the standard one was designed for. Complementing this component intended for all Vespas, from those tuned to have just a little more verve to those that are purely racing, the bell has 8 holes that make it lighter and reduce its moment of inertia clutch plates.
