high performance clutch for vespa large, designed to hold up with engines over 40 hp Compatible only with 6-7 spring type clutch gears.This 05/2015 clutch was designed with 3D drawing program, each component was designed in an assembly study.Each part of the clutch is completely new and sized to fit easily without interfering with other engine parts. Also compatible with recent Vespa PX models with mixer.The CMX is referred to as a turned clutch, as the basket is integral with the gear (pinion).This technical choice allows the basket (commonly known as the bell) to remain stationary when the clutch is pulled (clutch release). Thanks to this inversion of the moving parts, the clutch becomes very piprogressive in the initial thrusting part of the Vespa, minimising any annoying jerking at the start (a problem known to old clutches). This, together with the considerable contact points of the gasketed discs and carrier plates, makes the CMX an ideal clutch for engines over 15 hp, avoiding premature wear caused by hammering of the contact parts.Bushing interchangeable with original Piaggio on hardened and tempered steel bushing.Conical tightening nut and pressure plate with bearing.Tightening of the conical nut should be 50-55 Nm.
